CREATIVE BUSINESS AWARD & SINE LANGUAGE FINALE!
Hetain Patel is the recipient of the prestigious Nottingham Creative Business of the Year Award 2008. At a packed Nottingham Council House on October 1st Patel not only won the Visual Arts category but the overall title as well. Awards chairman Mark Shaw praised Patel and held him up as a shining example of creative talent the awards had been seeking to highlight.Patel was among the 150 nominees put forward by companies in the east Midlands for award categories such as crafts, digital media, architecture and performing arts, to name a few.
Shaw said that "Hetain Patel distills all that is amazing about true creativity. There is magic and innovation in his work. There is real depth in what he does. And this depth of thinking and communicating is just beginning to emerge in the work of a few businesses within the creative industries."

SINE LANGUAGE FINALE!
The 2 year touring project Sine Language will begin its finale this November in Oldham, U.K. This collaborative project between Patel and beatboxer Jason Singh will see the artists perform live at Gallery Oldham to complement their multimedia installation there opening on 15th November 2008.
